SAG Awards: Winners!

The ones bolded are the ones I got right

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role

Daniel Day-Lewis - There Will Be Blood [DANIEL PLAINVIEW]

This further solidifies his status to win the Oscar. He deserves it too. I've said this before, but his acting job here is on Ellen Burstyn - Requiem for a Dream scale.

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role

Julie Christie - Away from Her [FIONA ANDERSON]

I am glad she showed up to the ceremony. She does have some competition from Cotillard and Page to win the Oscar, but I think she is good right now.

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role

Javier Bardem - No Country for Old Men [ANTON CHIGURH]

He and Day-Lewis are the only for sure winners come Oscar night. He has mostly steamrolled through the precursors and nothing is going to stop him. Just like his character in the movie.

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role

Ruby Dee - American Gangster [MAMA LUCAS]

It's good that she won this and she definitely deserved her Oscar nomination. However, I do think that either Blanchett or Ryan will win the Oscar. Her win here was definitely a surprise.

Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture

No Country for Old Men

This is now definitely going to win the Best Picture award.

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a TV Series or Movie

Kevin Kline - As You Like It [JACQUES]

Total shot in the dark. Just figured that Kevin Kline is someone they like and that that would make him win. I was right =)

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a TV Series or Movie

Queen Latifah - Life Support [ANA]

She won the Golden Globe, so I expected the SAG to follow suit. I need to see this movie.

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series

James Gandolfini - The Sopranos [TONY SOPRANO]

Should have known that they would give the Actors to The Sopranos because 1. One of the most popular shows and 2. It just ended. Well deserved though.

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series

Edie Falco - The Sopranos [CARMELA SOPRANO]

Definitely should have seen this one too. Her and Gandolfini are life forces on the screen.

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series

Alec Baldwin - 30 Rock [JACK DONAGHY]

Thought that they would give it to someone else, but two years in a row ain't bad for a continously hilarious performance. He was my alternate choice.

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series

Tina Fey - 30 Rock [LIZ LEMON]

She has improved in every episode since Season 1 and she just keeps getting funnier and funnier. She is an amazingly astute comedic performer and the tasks she performs on the show just make the program even better. Extremely well deserved.

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series

The Sopranos

With The Sopranos ending this should have been a no brainer. My love for Grey's Anatomy clouded my thoughts. This was my alternate though, so it was in the corners of mind.

Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series

The Office

The Office and 30 Rock are both so funny and they both deserved this award. I'm glad one of them got it though.
