Happy-Go-Lucky



In a previous post I stated that the poster for Happy-Go-Lucky reminded me of Lily Allen's song LDN. Lo and behold, I was right. The song is in the trailer towards the end. I just felt like I should post this considering I knew that this song would somehow be infused with the movie =)

Oh, and Sally Hawkins is fucking fantastic in the trailer. She definitely looks like a strong candidate for an Oscar nomination.

The Brave One vs. Death Sentence

While The Brave One is huge steps up from Death Sentence, the latter is still a solid action-revenge flick with only a little corny dialogue here and there. And sure, DS doesn't go as deep as TBO did, but it manages to hold it's own with some truly gruesome scenes and a chase that is expertly filmed. I give Death Sentence a B.
